Guest artist Joshua Roman was 22 when he joined the Seattle Symphony Orchestra as their principal cellist. He'll be the featured soloist for Tchaikovsky's Variations on a Rococo Theme. Also on the bill is Smetana's The Moldau, Dvorak's lyrical Silent Woods, and Schumann's last symphony, "Rhenish." Christopher Wilkins conducts. A free Know the Score pre-concert talk will be held on the Gaillard stage.
